Good Luck Never Looked So Good
The Sugarpost Ladybug is a hand-welded sculpture crafted from a genuine WWII army helmet β the same material that inspired Fred Conlon's very first piece. Transformed into a cheerful ladybug, it brings charm and history to any garden, patio, or shelf. Every piece is signed by the artist.
The Sugarpost Story
Artist Fred Conlon spotted a pile of WWII surplus helmets at a military yard and saw something no one else did. That first helmet turtle launched Sugarpost Metal Art, and the ladybug became one of the earliest and most beloved designs to follow. Made in Salt Lake City, Utah, every piece is handcrafted from recycled scrap metal and vintage military surplus, welded, plasma cut, and signed by the artist.
