"Frog and Dandelion" (Лягушка и одуванчик), hand-painted by the prominent artist Yevgenii Krasnov. It was made in the historic village of Mstyora (also spelled Mstera), located in the Vladimir region of Russia.
Inscriptions: Along the bottom edge of the artwork, you can see the artist's signature ("Краснов"), the year of creation, and the village of origin ("Мстёра") written in tiny, elegant gold script
Material & Construction: The box is meticulously crafted from traditional papier-mâché rather than wood. It has been layered, pressed, boiled in linseed oil, and baked to create a structure more durable and warp-resistant than natural timber.
